Must everyone truly play this like it's the best song in the whole world? Instead of learning something better, they must make a million variations on it...changing the rhythm...maybe the way the chords are played...or maybe even how the little melody is played.

And now I'm going to go ahead and get off my soapbox.

No way...that is not a soap box! I'm fed up with it too! It seems to be the only song 8 year olds can play on the piano too. Anytime anyone came over, and seemed like either my family or their family would feel the need to show off their piano skillz with this song.

Lol I used to play that too. It was one of the few things I could remember off the top of my head.....but it was fun playing with someone else.
Apart from that yes, I would agree it is a bit old :)

I have often talked about inventing a piano that would recognize when Heart and Soul was being played on it, and lock the keys. :)
