So....you mean to tell me that in all the wars wolverine and sabertooth fought in, they never got shot in the head and lost their memories?

Come on guys...

Not by adamantium bullets...

but yeah, plot wasn't this movie's strong point.

As has been the problem with a few of the big blockbusters of late, they have spent so much time with build up and fight scenes, that to end the moving quickly and cheaply, they have written in poor excuses for endings rather than something more clever that would have taken a little more time and money...

I think that they feel an action flick excuses bad writing...

did anyone else feel like they ran out of money for the CGI in the final 10 minutes of this movie?

would they have needed that type of bullet before he had the stuff bonded to his skeleton? i think before that a regular bullet would have sufficed.

of course maybe you would have had to shoot him in the right spot(s).

That's exactly my point. The brain would grow back but the memories wouldn't. A normal bullet, sword, cannon ball should do the trick.

The only problem with "musket balls" and such were that they weren't "high penetration projectiles" (as proven by the "Deadliest Warrior" series on SpikeTV). They would bounce off of their targets quite easily if they didn't strike at the right angle.

Now, in the Vietnam Era fighting that they were, I'd think that they'd put on a battle helmet to block some of those "head shots"...

Either way, suffice it to say, maybe both of them were just too "hard headed" to be beaten by a regular bullet to the head.

Good point, I hadn't thought of that.

Can we talk about Speed??? ;)

Hmm that is a good point. Did the bad guy say anything when he shot him? Like oh the front lobe is the secret to brain wipe or something clever? I forgot already...
