Any of you Apexers out there remember the combination of Up, Down, Left, and Right arrow buttons that gives you 30 lives to start Contra instead of 3? I can't seem to get it to work.

That might have been Contra 2 or some other game. Can't remember, but a 2nd combo using select sounds vaguely familiar.

for some reason i thought it was to ba's as well

but when you hit select, that changes it from 1p to 2p, so that is definitely a 2 player game you're starting there.

Start is 1p and select + start is 2p.

Haha i love contra... Great game. Man I wish i had an old nintendo to play with.

We always did 'b a b a select start' for two player and 'b a start' for one player :shrug:

other than the konami code, those codes are totally alien to me.

The two ID codes were for DOOM...... idkfa was god mode, and I think the other one mentioned was for noclip (walk through walls). I might have them reversed though.

I also remember the idspispopd. I think IDDQD did something as well. Which game was it that had a code with the word "avatar" in it? I don't remember.

Yep, although I can't get it to work tonight. I don't know if they removed it or I'm doing something wrong. You press Enter for Start.

Makes a lens flare effect when you click anywhere on the page.
