NewEgg has a high performance but low cost combo desktop parts promo, build-it-yourself deal. Features an AMD Athlon 64 X2 Kuma 2.7GHz Dual Core processor, NVIDIA GeForce chipset motherboard with onboard HDMI, sound, esata. A 1 terabyte hard drive, GeForce 9500 GT video card with 1gig GDDR2 memory, 4 gig of DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) system memory, and a black steel ATX mid tower case with 585 watt power supply. All of this for under $300!

Combo Discount: -$79.00
Combo Price: $321.94

3 Mail-In Rebates: -$35
FINAL COST: $286.94

Shipping to Michigan is around $24 so the mail-in rebates pretty much cover the shipping charges.

PS: If you're not familiar with NewEgg they are a very reputable computer parts supplier. I have been ordering hardware from them for about 10 years now and exceptional service. Fast shipping. Even returned and exchanged a few items, no hassles

FYI - NewEgg is having a 72 hr sale on all hard drives, 10% off and free shipping. Oddly enough this includes the Western Digital media player. Regular price $109, on sale for $99 with free shipping, then use promo code and it's $89. It's not a hard drive, in fact requires an external USB hard drive or flash drive, but it's lumped into the HD category at NewEgg. I've seen this on sale in stores on occasion for $99, plus tax so $89 shipped (no tax) is a good deal. This allows you to play digital media (downloaded movies) directly on your tv, NO COMPUTER REQUIRED. Just connect a high capacity USB flash drive or external USB hard drive. It has HDMI, composite video (single rca connector), and digital optical audio output.

Damn that's nice. I'm not quite ready for a new PC at my house but this might make me rush it. I need to get back into PC gaming. That is probably the only reason why I would buy it.

LOL the first reviewer for the case says it's very lightweight, and the third guy down states that the case is very heavy for its size. Either way, seems that alot of people have complaints regarding the quality of the power supply
