UP
Saw it late friday night and it was as usual... Pixar only does all good and this was definitely worth seeing. After dealling with bugs, fish, animals, toys, kids, they tackled growing old and did their usual magic. I recommend not seeing the previews if you haven't and just going to see it in the theater. There was also a cute short about storks and babies that was well done. Seems like everything they do is top notch. PIXAR is what Disney used to be and what every other animation studio wishes they were.
3D
The 3D in up was alright, but not spectacular. You still have to wear glasses and I found myself having to focus on certain objects at times to the get the 3d effect. There were nice things about it, but I don't know if it was worth the $3 premium. It did add to some scenes and it did make the previews better. In fact, the 3D may have been better in the previews. Disney, etc. were pushing their 3d in upcoming movies.
