Lady was so sweet on the phone, she apologized about
the servers being down and that they ran out of phone
cards, so she would send me an amazon.com G/C instead.
She said that the servers are blocking out all requests
and there is not ETA on the fix.

They may be catching on. The CSR asked about the page on which I got the error message. I pooh-poohed something about providing my license number and other pertinent information. She then asked for my e-mail address and said I'd be receiving an e-mail from them with "information." When I asked if this was a quote form to fill out she got somewhat testy and said I'd see what was in it when I received it. They must be getting bombarded.

Some people just don't work well under pressure.

I got Marci, and then my friend got her too -- I am pretty sure she is the only one answering the phone or else there are just a few people...Either way they are getting slammed right now for sure -- Just look at the number of views this post has over 200 (Thats a lot of calls in the space of just 15 min or so).

Site is back up and working, but they do seem to have some decent rates on insurance. Now I just gotta go find out how many of my 3 speeding tickets are still on my record :-( Anyone know how to do that? Does the DMV give out those records?

Twilight, you can usually contact your DMV and they will, for a fee, give you a copy of your violation record.

nope. but the woman told me it would take 2-3 days. i tried to get a quote after it was back up and working just to alleviate some of the guilt, but they don't offer insurance in MA. oh well.
