The shipping seems a little high, and im not clear on who gives you the free film. If you have to pay shipping on every roll of free film, it might not be so good. Check it out anyway.

First the Camera is completely free. Second, every time you develop a roll of Kodak film, you will receive another one of the same type for no charge. You will receive up to 100 rolls of film. Now you only have to pay for the developing, and never have to buy new film again!
No idea how much they charge for developing.
If it's cheap, then this could be a good deal.
Anyone try this yet??

Seattle Filmworks, as well as others, will give you the same deal. The catch is that it's crappy film. SFW gives you film that can only be developed by them, and most other companies give you AGFA film, which is pretty yucky. Some people are happy with this, but I'm not - I'm a photojournalist. If you want a film recomendation, about 99% of newspapers in the U.S. use Fuji film.

They did state that it was Kodak film.
I'm assuming that it's "Process C-41", which is normal Drugstore developing.
Fuji is really good stuff. We used their X-Ray film when I was in the Military, and they could have afforded to buy any brand they wanted!

Is this the same military that buys $2 ash trays for $100?

Actually, they don't really purchase the ashtrays for $100, thats just what they record - then some swiss bank account gets the difference.

Well here's the problem - they want $17.95 for shipping and handling to send you the camera and your first film. It doesn't say how many rolls of film you get at first, but they're not going to send you 100 at once, they replace them as you pay for developing. There's the second catch - they never say how much their developing is, just "40% off". 40% off what?? It says you'll receive: "10 5x7's, 5 8x10's, 36 wallets" but it doesn't say they're free.. which means you pay for them. Also, the camera in the photo looks like a piece of junk.
As a side note, if anyone would like a recommendation for the best quality point and shoot camera it's the Olympus Styls Epic. Not the Epic zoom or Epic 80 or anything else with a fancy name, because they're not. The Olympus Stylus Epic has a 35mm f2.8 glass lens. Most point and shoot cameras have plastic lenses. It also has some nice features, like the ability to turn off the flash. Best part is that they sell for about $90, and they're widely available, including at cameraworld.com (although I think they're $99 there). Many photojournalists carry one of these in their pocket at all times when they're not carrying all their working gear. I have a photojournalist collegue who even takes his to the grocery store with him.. you never know what's going happen. He has photos taken with this camera in his portfolio. Enough said.

Absolutely - That's why I said that they could afford to buy any film that they want!
