Palm VII for $99?

Techbargains is reporting that Office Depots are closing out Palm VII's for $99.88, SKU 983459. I called around a few places in Mass. (where I am right now) and got a nada, but maybe on the West Coast?

Anyone have any info?

Just got off the phone with a guy in the office depot at costa mesa...


they ARE having palm VII for $99... but it's at stores that are being closed down .. so they are liquidiating EVERYTHING..

you HAVE to go to the physical store to buy it.. becuase all sales are FINAL.. and can't order over the phone via CC #..

the guy told me that this applies to some stores in northern california and arizona...

but NOT in the LA area ..

I've got confirmation of OD going out of business
in kansas. michigan, and new york...

there is one DEFINITE in DODGE (i think that is in kansas.. called kansas and thats where they sent me)

the number is 316-325-4500....

couldn't get in touch with them...


hope SOMEONE gets one of these..

and they DO exist !

Called the 516-228 number and they've got them in stock...but for $269. A nice warm deal but $170 away from $99. If anyone has better luck, post it quick.

i called a lot of the O.D. in the southbay area and none of them carried the palm VII...they say that it's been discontinued for about a year now

I live less than an hour from Dodge City. If someone is willing to pay me $50 for the trouble plus shipping, as well as the $99 for the palm, I will go to Dodge and buy one and then ship it to you. :) If interested, let me know!

I called the Dodge City store and talked to the Manager. He said the Palm VII's are $2XX there but he has a ton of the Palm IIIe's that will probably be $99 before the sale is over.

I found one in Muskogee, OK in stock but apparently the manager thought it was such a great deal when the phone girl asked about it ... she wouldn't let me have it and bought it for herself. Witch.

I got one... HAHAHAHAH! I called the main OD number and inqured about any OTHER stores that might have it in my state and she said only the one had one. So, I told her why I couldn't get that one and she put me on hold. She came back with that store manager on the phone and said I could have it!

So I drove an hour and picked it up!!!!!!

I can think of one store here in MN that might close, cause it is in a lousy local, so I'm checking it out today, but get cracking...someone find a list of store closings!

I am in Columbus OH where they are closing all the stores. I called OfficeDepot here yesterday and they knew nothing about $99, said that all they were doing was 20% off.

I'm in Orange County, talked to a regional manager who was in the store at the time. He said that only San Diego had some left in Southern California. If any of you are down there, good luck.

Does anyone know if there are any in Sacremento? I called Office Depot's main line and I've had 4 different CSR, and 2 could tell me, and 2 couldn't, but I haven't asked about Sacremento yet. Anyone know?
