I wonder what would happen if a team tried this at an older age level game....

Totally illegal play.
I'd be surprised if the ref didn't call it back.

Why do you think it's illegal. The center transferred the ball the the QB, and the QB took it around the end. Just because there was some deceit involved doesn't automatically make it illegal. All the linemen were in their "ready" position (which is a legal position to be in when the ball is snapped), and none of them moved prior to the "snap".
At the end, it looks as if the ref is just taking the ball to set up for the PAT play.
Doesn't look illegal to me. the offense didn't move until the Quarterback had the ball.

15 yard penalty, unsportsmanlike conduct. touchdown stands. penalty will be assessed on the kickoff. at least that's what i would've done if i was the ref.
and if i was the opposing coach, i wouldn't have shaken his hand.

Don't think it was illegal but definitely unsportsmanlike. If I were the parents or opposing coach I'd really question the coaches motives. The point of pee-wee football is to have fun and learn how to play football. It may be fun to score a TD but I don't see how that play teaches the kids anything.

:stupid:
If I had kids on that team I'd be complaining to the league - I really, really disrespect the 'win at all costs' type coaches.

Very shady. Not illegal but why would you want to pull that in kid's football. I do wonder if the team they were playing against was one of those cocky teams. I know I played against a few of those types in soccer.

It would have been awesome if one of the players on defense realized what was happening but waited until the QB was in the open on the near side and went for a sack.

Looking at the replay, it just doesn't look like the center "snapped" the ball... and pretty much false started on the play since he stood up.
Look at how high that ball is when the quarterback steps back... no way that ball was set on the ground before the snap. I just wish I had a tighter view and a better angle of the line to see the "transfer"
