Ok, I formatted completly last night when I got my new HD. So it's a fresh computer install. Here are the specs.
I have a:
P3 800EB133
ABIT BX-133 RAID MB
256MB PC 133 SDRAM
IBM 46GB ATA 100 7200RPM HD IN THE ATA/100 SLOT
IBM 20GB 7200RPM HD IN IDE SLOT 1.( wasnt hooked up during the test)
Creative Annilhator pro geforce 2
WINDOWS MILLENIUM
DIRECTX 7
SB LIVE PLATINUM!
3COM NIC
Note: Nothing was overclocked or anything. My score came to 4004... What's up with that? I have the newest ata/100 drivers installed too. I think I was using the nvidia leaked 6.50 drivers for the video card...

P3=Crap Try the new VIA 4in1 drivers go to www.madonion.com and ask in their forum check 5 minutes later and you will have 2 replies. They are fast over there.

Do NOT try the VIA 4 in 1 driver or VIA AGP Hotfix. DO NOT. You have an Intel chipset. Your score will decrease. And Paladin you have to stop reccomending the VIA driver to everyone because some dipshit reccomended it to you in the madonion forums BECAUSE YOU HAVE A VIA CHIPSET! That guy must have his head stuck up his ass or have no common sense, because its like installing a 3DFX driver on a NVIDIA card and you can tell by the name which includes VIA.

Kick@ss is mad because His specs are good and he still only scores 5500 or so when I score 7821 with my computer.:P Before the VIA upgrade I only got 4000 that guy told me to install those VIA 4in1 drivers and I got 6500 or so. I don't care If you take my advice or not but Who has the higher scores?

do you understand what your recomending to people paladin?!?!
Do you know how much you can f*ck up your computer by installing the wrong drivers?!?!?
If i had admin rights i would delete that post. I suggest you go study a little before you start giving out bad advice.

WAS a wife beater :heh:
Just kidding, don't get your panty's in a knot.
Check you clock and bus speeds for that the BX chipset was actually only made to do 100Mhz but has the ability to be overclocked. Now with the 800EB Intel P3 with a 133Mhz bus speed recommended to be run at 133*6 what are you actually settings? My opinion and only my opinion, I saw that it was better suited to stick with the 800E P3 @ 100Mhz instead of going with the 800EB. Oh and has anyone every noticed that the 600E and the 800EB shows up with the same CPU ID info? Did Intel pull one on us by taking the 600E @ 100 and stamped it and called it a 800Mhz @ 133 and jacking the price up on it? A little food for thought.
