Flu shots

who has or will be getting flu shots?

i was shocked to fine out last night.that some places like banks and investment houses ,even prisoner in jail are getting the shots before the general public is able to.
some doctors and hospitals are still on the waiting list to even get there first shipments of the shots.

Eh, I won't be getting one. My kids already had H1N1 & I didn't catch it, plus it's really nothing more than the flu.

Like I said in another thread - if you're in a risk group (very young or old, asthmatic, pregnant, etc) you should get it. For anyone else, it's really not this life & death situation that everyone is making it out to be.

I agree with you there. The media has blown this whole H1N1 issue way out of proportion.

Of course, here in Alberta (Canada), they have totally botched up the rollout of the H1N1 vaccine to the point that it's literally a gong show/3-ring circus act. It's pathetic.

As for me, I won't be getting the shot - I actually think I could have already gotten H1N1 a few weeks ago, and I also don't trust the vaccine.

As a first responder, I can get it, but I'm wary of flu shots anyhow. I'm healthy, I rarely catch any flu like bug with or without the shot.

I caved in and got one when my brand new wife insisted I get it... then got the flu. Haven't had the shot since and haven't had the flu either.

my wifes a first responder and she not getting one. i not had one myself -2year ago my dr.said i needed it but this year doc not push it on me.

I have never had a flu shot- don't see the need to get one.
