2011 BMW 5-Series

What do you guys think? I thought the latest 3-Series coupe was the best looking model to come out of BMW in recent years. Looks like they're continuing with that look, but at a bulkier scale. The rear is nicely proportioned and clean, but the nose looks a bit bulgy like the 6 Series models, which always reminds me of a whale. I definitely don't like it as much as the 3-Series, but very often car designs are an acquired taste so I'm not gonna hate it too readily.

but yeah, i hate this whole generation of bmw's. the 3series from earlier this decade were the best looking by far.

The front and back look good. The sides look a little bit too much like a Taurus.

Looks a bit plain. Maybe that's a good thing if it's what you're going for. It'll probably hold up to time better. I think I liked them a bit boxier. I'll make up my mind once I see one in person. I wonder if they are that low to the ground stock. It's definitely a good look but I worry about the ride (which I would expect to be very damped on an 5 series).

I like the rear end of the new 5 series too. The front looks pudgy; me no likey.
