Amex Wishlist 2009

I've been ignoring these emails for a while from Amex but apparently they have a weekly Amex Wishlist.

Today deal is $50 back when you purchase over $100.

I'm thinking with the BOGO 50% off on video games this would be great depending on how fast they deliver the GC.

I've already missed the BMW 328i for $16K. Later this week they have $100 off a purchase of $200 or more at Amazon.com.

You need to have an AMEX card otherwise you can't get any of these deals.

they've had this website up for a few months, and everything is almost impossible to get. i get tired of wasting my time with amex's site.

They had the BMW twice now, and I tried and had no luck. I tried one other like the amazon deal and didn't get that either. Worth a try anyway.

What a rip. The Blackberry Bold was the item today and I've been thinking about getting one anyway. I am already with t-mobile so I called them to see if I got this if I could just switch my SIM card and start using the phone. Oh yes, certainly you can do that and it won't affect your upgrade in the future. So I get all excited and click the buy button, get my code mailed to me and go to the t-mobile site as instructed. The price comes up at $419 same as always. So I call again and am told this time that because I am already a customer I can't get the AMEX deal.
Why can't these people ever get their story straight?

They have had this promo every Xmas for years.

I was able to get the Lexus SUV for uh, I forget now, $19k or something...(was 2000 or so?) I logged in with my mom's card and was able to purchase. I was freaking out and screaming.

Guess what?

"We cannot complete your purchase at this time. Your credit limit would have been extended. Please contact customer service at #"

My mother cancelled her card the next day.
