CC Fraud... Check your bill again!!

I know this isn't a deal, but since this is where I get all my deals and we shop at the same places, I thought this might be relevant.

BEWARE!!! I am getting hammered by a company called GREENSTEDYOUR123.COM and/or GREENSTD YOUR1234.COM on my online credit card statement.

This looks to be a different company than the Moscow Telecom scam that also hit my card!

I have been hit three times for 29.95 and once for 2.95 this month. Anyone know, heard or been affected by this company as well?

Sounds like pornsite membership fees to me... $2.95 membership trial and then you got hit for the $29.95 monthly membership fee when the $2.95 one expired. Does that ring a bell? <-grin->

I was hit with the Russian charges... Coincidentally just a day or two after Eggheads database was compromised. I am very upset with Egghead for still denying the fact that their customers information was compromised. I had to cancel 2 cards as a result, one of them being my check card. Was the card you experienced problems with used at Egghead (Onsale) as well?

I was also hit by the Moscow-Telecom charge, however i've never ordered from egghead, or even registered on their site.

Your'e better off staying away from Egghead.

Nothing special about their lousy prices and policies.

I was actually a carry over customer from the Onsale days. I haven't purchased anything from them in months, probably even over a year. Egghead is terrible, and the auctions are nothing but junk, with lots of dumb, uninformed consumers buying it.

Ouch. This is why I never use my check card on the Internet... I just don't like the idea of taking the risk of that card being scammed... for crying outloud it's directly linked to my checking account (and close enough to my savings!)
