Brand new and improved update. The homebase discount at the South Pomona, Ca. Homebase location is currently at 50-70% off. Everything in the store is at least 50%off. I went there today and they are selling everything, and i won't be suprised to see the register's being sold by the end of the month.

P.S. I said earlier they were closing on the fourth, when I was 'flirting' with one of the workers she said that the store was going to stay open until everything is sold and they assumed it would all be gone by the 4th.

P.P.S They still have a bunch of cabinets and light fixtures for sell so anybody who is doing a little light remodeling or has a basement/attic they want to fix up this would be a good place to go. I picked up $400 in cabinets for my closet for under $180.

!!!Update!!!
The discount has now gone up to 60-80% this is within 5 days of their last price cut, I cant wait until next week, I need cheap lumber.

I've heard they are closing down all sections of their stores, and are going to become "remodeling centers" only. So no more lumber, hardware, etc.

They are closing the one here in Santa Maria, CA too.
In some select locations they will be opening again as "a bunch of little stores inside one store" type of remodeling center.

Walked through the other day. Found some good deals. But was told that this might differ from store to store.

most girls let me get to first base and some let me get to second base, now I know I won't be able to get to home base again because it is closing.

What is the use of being a man!!

I have no use for life!

I saw some commercials about Home Base closing down. I'm sure the one in El Monte is closing down too, gotta pick up some cheap power tools.

I know for a fact the location by La Tijera and La Cienega in LA and the Inglewood stores are almost completely cleaned out. What a mess! But it was odd to see a store that big so cleaned out!
