DO NOT CONVERT ANY OF YOUR "QBATES" INTO STORE CREDIT!
#2 because you will not get any % back even if you use dash or ******.
#1 because apparently you can not get qbates for the itmes you purchase with store credit! (you don't get the money back and you end up with some cheap clothes which cost you a whole lot of $).
I am beginning to wish I never heard of urbanq.....

Interesting thread, but I am still concerned.
Both CyberRebate and UrbanQ promise the MINIMUM rebate time just AFTER the expiration of time to demand your money back (60-90 days) from your credit card company.
Additionally, your ccc won't give you anything back if you RECEIVED the merchandise, but NOT a rebate, because you contracted to buy merchandise (albeit overpriced). In fact, they might accuse you are assisting the company in laundering money (but only if you are a pain to them).

It is not worth either one to do. You get a product at cyberrebate that is about 100X what it is worth or at Urbanq you get clothes that you can find cheaper on sale. Then yiu give up you money for months at a time. Just give it up people. I don't plan on shelling out $100.00 to get something free when I can go out and buy it and not have to worry about the pain and suffering and so forth waiting to get my money back.

Cyberebate is much better than Urbanq. I have dealt with them at least 4 times and have got thousands in rebate from them. They are fast, reliable and professional. Once all my rebate forms except one was received and process by them. I sent them an e-mail and within a week got a response from them. Faxed the copy of the rebate form and UPC to them, and after a while, I got my checks for all the rebate!
Urbanq, on the other hand, is HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE !!!
I sent my rebate forms at around January 2nd and while I checked the account just now, the form was still not there. E-mailed them more than a week ago only to get an e-mail back telling me not to worry. How could I not worry about this? Then, By some means, I managed to get the number for Illana, The person everybody is talking about. Yet, When I called them today, they did not even transfer me to her and just take a message instead! Then I asked if there's any person besides her I could talk with, they connected me to 2 different people and finally I was talking to a guy called Josh. Again, he is repeating the same empty assurance. I am really tired of this.
One way to deal with this problem is to file complaints with FTC, state consumer protection bureau, and state attorney general. They won't take any action if there's only dozens of complaints. Yet, if more and more people are taking action against them, they will be dead within a month. Remember X.com, the online sibling company of paypal? It went out of business in late 2000. One of the reasons is the customer complaints, where you can find at http://www.ugetheard.com/wc.dll?AP3~CompanyBoard~&Cobrand=CB_0&Category=&Industry_Code=7&Company_Code=763&Back=
Legally, closing-up might not provide X.com with a safe harbor against past claims, but it can prevent future problems. Also, statute of limitations might get them out of some troubles happened in the past as well.
Another reason X.com closed down is the low quality of their CS. They just can't find intelligent people who can properly treat their customers and handle the problems. Urbanq seems to be having the same problem with CS too. Hope Illana can save them from drowning too deep.
