I wouldn't hold my breath. The confirmation email they send you will state that it's been discontinued, but the rest of your order will go through... including the shipping fee, and the special handling fee (for orders below $5 or something).

(For what it's worth, I placed my order around 7am EST).

so what would happen if the multifunction machine is the only thing that you enter?

They wouldn't be able to charge you for anything rite?

worth a shot, no?

I actually needed one of these machines (fax, printer, and scanner mostly) too. :(

Anyone knows any decent deals on multi-functional machines?

If you can wait a week, I'll bet there will be plenty of good "slightly marked up" deals on E-bay

Did anyone look closely at the specs on that machine? I think you'll be happy you didnt get it. It was way cheap... but it scanned at 400 X 400 and i'll bet the print quality blows too...

A 600 DPI laser printer/copier/fax for $99??? Who cares if the specs aren't good - it's still a hell of a good deal.

The replacement toner cartridges for that thing are $114.00. Not good!

If you looked for this multifunction device elesewhere, it sold for about $549. While $115 for a toner cartridge isn't all that cheap, its not unusual, and I am sure there are aftermarker toners available for the product at half the cost. If the rest of you are like me, you got it because laser printers are cool and for $99 you cant go wrong. If any of you had the intentions of doing 10,000 sheets a month with the thing, then this really wasn't the right product for you. Granted, the first month I have the thing I might get close to that 10,000 pages, simply because its a new toy. In 3 months it will probably wind up sitting in the closet to make room on my desk for some other cool toy..

Well, I got the notepads and highlighters, but not the fax machine. They also sent a 'welcone kit' with a bunch of free samples, so for the 3 dollars I spent I guess I'll keep it.

It pisses me off that they never notified me that they weren't shipping the fax, though. I would've cancelled the whole order.

I received the same package yesterday. The shame is they shipped so fast you didn't even have time to cancel. I hate weasels.

look closer... it wasnt laser, it 'laser-quality'

It was a laser printer. Sells elsewhere for $550+. If you dispute that, then perhaps you can shed some light on what other printing technology uses toner cartridges that isn't a laser printer.

Check the specs of the printer yourself.

I think someone made a mistake... that's why no one ever got it
