I have a friend inquiring about Cyber rebate, I know I have seen postings here, and wanted some feedback regarding what sort of experiences everyone has had.
Any troubles etc?
Thanks for your help

yes you get free products in the end months down the road after everything is done and it goes through without a hitch, but free for giving up hundreds of dollars for months at a time, I personally don't think it is worth it especially if you have to wait that long. Lets see spend $100 on a mouse or whatever and then wait 3 months or go out and buy it for $20 bucks. I guess if you don't mind giving up the hundereds of dollars and going through the possible hassell then great otherwise I personally wouldn't touch it with a 1000 foot pole

PRO - I feel comfortable that the rebate would come and you get free products also products are shipped very quickly. CON - They have become very very pricey. Some people say their rebates take too long, but I didn't mind that because they say they take three or so months and they are upfront with the time frame so there are no surprises. I have done them about four times and spent and was rebated about $1200. They use to have ok prices, but that seems to have changed recently. I purchased a cheap item, $21 about two weeks ago, but prices have to drop before I spend $1,000 again. If you do it, click through Gotapex because they help you out if there are problems. They fixed issues the first time I used Cyberrebate.

I have spent over $1500 and got all my rebates (waiting on one still which should come soon). At first, I bought a bunch of junk that I don't need. However, now I only buy stuff that I need. For example, a perry ellis palm case, can opener, etc. No more laser pointers!!

They do take a very long time, and my suggestion is to buy a few things at a time, cuz they will definately lose one of the rebate submissions if you send a bunch. Make sure you have copies of the repate submissions and UPCs.

Their customer service is among the best I have experienced ANYWHERE! They are truly amazing. Email them, and they respond within hours, not days. They will give you the benefit of the doubt if they can't find your rebate form, so long as they have record of your purchase, which, of course they do.

I have spent over $4000 with them and have received all rebates. I did have a snag or two but both were resolved to my satisfaction.

If you go through ****** or dash you actually make 5% on the deal.

They have good stuff and junk, be careful what you buy.

I have never bought anything from them that was less than 100% rebated.

PRO

I have spent over $12,000 at their site and have gotten all rebates back (within 3 motnhs after the date I mailed them).

I have been using ******.com to get 5% back from my total purchase.

They have free shipping.

They have a 1 800 number.

They are quick to respond to an e-mail.

They have quickly cleared up any problem I have had with them quickly (my only problems have been that they said they didn't receive some rebate forms but that may be because they just hadn't gotten to them yet).

I think its funny that people freak out about their prices but when you think about it;

- they may sell something for $100 when you can get it for $10 in a regular store somewhere but when all is said and done, if you bought it at the store you would never get your $10 back. Using cyberrebate you would get $105 back AND the item free AND it shipped to you free. So, lets see, they give me $5 and the item free (after waitting 3 months for the rebate) OR I could go to the store and pay $10 and get the item myself I would still choose cyberrebate. And you might be interested to know that they are having a cool pro deal right now (check it out on their homepage) which makes it even better.

No, I don't work for them; I think they are a great service and this is a great deal....as long as they don't go bankrupt and take all your money with them!
I will continue to order through them but just not allow the to have so much of my money at once. I would urge anyone else to check them out.

At this point, a 5% return on a 3 month investment loks pretty good, whether it be cyberrebate or the stock market!

I have also had good luck with cyber rebate... All of my rebates have come in about 3 months. Just be smart when you're buying things there because it will tie up money for a while. Personally, I would only buy things that you were going to anyway, not just because there is a rebate.

Tupacboy:

Visit http://www.******.com and http://www.dash.com. Both send you a 5% commision on the pre-rebate price of anything you order at Cyberrebate. They also offer similar commissions on items and services purchased at various other online sites.

They differ slightly, check out their details.

This is actually a way to make decent money. If you time your purchases at CR correctly you can realize an annual return of over 30%. For example if you use $100 "seed" money in one year you can have your original $100, an additional $30, and about $700 worth of CR stuff.

The only risks are a rebate getting lost in the mail, which if you're careful about keeping copies shouldn't be a problem, and CR going belly-up while you have rebates in process.
