every make ,model, and the size of gas tanks of car and truck will get different mileage.also roads traveled will make a difference.
but in general what kind of mileage per tank of gas. do you get on you personal car or truck on avg. when doing driving highways on trips.
i get like 300 miles a tank of gas on my 2002 Saturn vie between gas fill ups.

(I'm not asking or care what your miles per gallon is. or what a manufacturer claims your car should get on a tank of gas.

im asking what you have found is the normal for your car when you drive it.

strictly highway, close to 400, throw in even 30 miles of stop lights, 320

Not sure what you get from # miles between fill ups without calculating the mpg in the end. but I get 350ish, mixed.

Most of my vehicles will take me roughly 200 miles city and 300 miles highway on a full tank.

Now granted, I can stretch those numbers about 20% depending on the type of roads and how much braking/acceleraton I gotta do.

My personal vehicle gets about 350 miles a tank driving in town. My work vehicle (van) also gets about 350 miles a tank driving a combination of town and highway driving. But the van has a gas tank twice as big as the car.

I have both ends of the spectrum covered.

I usually fill up at about 270 miles in my Tundra (22gallon tank)
On the other hand 400 miles with room to spare in the Prius (11 or so gallon tank)

~70 mpt on my moped. tank is <2 gallons. work is 3 miles or so one way. can't legally go on the freeway. :)

my wife drives our CR-V. not the greatest since her work is only like 1.5 miles each way. we hit the freeway maybe...5 times a month? yeah...

Not a heel of a lot with the current car. Id say 10mpg * 16g tank...so... 160 miles on a normal tank for going to work (lots of stop and go and traffic with NO highway driving)

10 MPG with a 16 gallon tank?

What da heck kind of car do you drive? Even my HEMI gets slightly better gas mileage than that. Wowsers....

1999 Passat. The numbers from the sticker were 17city 32 highway, but my normal day is 3.5 miles to work and 3.5 miles back home and the car computer puts my mileage around 10mpg for each trip.

The 3.5 miles takes on average 25minutes, I hit about 14 red lights not including the many many school buses (i drive through an orthadox jewish neighborhood, so basically its 1 schoolbus for every 3 apt buildings.) and 1 guard gate.

And I speed down bedford ave as I can sometimes make it through every light green if i do taking out 2 of those 14 red lights above.

I think I get around 300 miles to a tank with a 92 Prelude with mostly city driving. The tank is 16 gallons, but I probably have 1-2 left when I fill up.
