Federal regulators are considering a snack attack on the nation's airlines that would restrict or even completely ban serving peanuts on commercial flights.

what the hell people can't just say NO THANK YOU when there offer to them.
OK i can see this in schools as kids don't always know its bad for them. realize there in a food they are getting.

now a days if a product has peanuts in it . used in the same plant the food is made at . has to have it on the package warning you.
we waste so much money on ass9 thing in the goverment . next they tell News Papers and Magizines to have warnings on the cover and bottom and back pages .
( Not to Wiping your Ass With Them as They May Leave Print Behind ) :eye:

I'm allergic to peanuts and start having breathing problems when I'm within 3 foot radius. It's not just eating the peanuts, it's also breathing the peanut particles that float in the air. Luckily I have a mild allergy but I will and have scratched the flesh off my neck and body before.

George Washington Carver just shuddered in his grave...

But yeah... on a plane, confined as it is... if it could cause someone to have a major reaction, then I guess it's time to stick to pretzels.

My thing is.. lately on flights they don't even give you a snack sometimes. You can barely get half a can of soda these days. Geez.... :2far:

I knew that once they gave the airlines permission to charge for "extras" during the fuel crisis 3 years back... they wouldn't stop there. Fuel prices came down, but their fares and charges still went up.

Next thing you know, you'll have to take turns actually flying the plane and pushing the drink cart down the aisles.
