Too many horror stories about Jiffy Lube and their ability to screw up cars. A friend had the oil changed in his new Subaru and as he drove off the car stopped. The Jiffy Lube crew drained the ATF from his automatic transmission AND added 4.2 quarts of oil to his crank case - overfilling that by 100%. Looks like th total bill is going to be close to $5000 when it's done being fixed by the local Subaru dealer. I'll still take the time to do my own and use Castrol synthetic oil from Sam's Club...
