My co-worker zip up a file from 12megs to 2 megs and tried to send it to a user. Their email system strips out all the files in a zip. They are asking for XIP file instead.
I can't find any tool to create or extract a xip file. Is there such a thing? THanks.

most emails block .zip or .bat etc...
sometimes with the more basic ones you can just delete or change the extension to get past it.
so either they are asking you to rename it to xip while its really a zip file, or you need to change the file they sent you to zip...not sure which way your trying to transfer the file.

I see. My co-worker is trying to send a file. So hopefully they are asking what you said and just change the file extension and then they'll change it back. I doubt they are that brilliant though but I might be surprised.
