This might have to do with software and hardware.
I am getting some blue screen's (of death?... almost) since I've installed windows 7 on my ASUS G2S-A1 laptop. I had experienced them right after installing 2x4gb g-skill ram (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231210&Tpk=gskill%20ddr2%20667). Windows would have a blue screen after freezing during it's boot screen (the one with the glowing windows logo). I cleared the bios, and re-installed the 8gb ram and the problem seemed to go away. Now, I seem to get the blue screen when my laptop resumes from hibernation right when it reaches the login screen. Your help G|A would be much appreciated. Thanks for reading!

btw this is the error report (i guess) after rebooting and logging in.

did you memtest? try reinstalling your old working ram and seeing if that fixes it.

also check the asus forums or search for compatibility issues. thought gskill is supposed to be good stuff. it could be a bad os install. But Im thinking it's the ram.

Nice setup btw. Are you running a SSD in there? That would really make it fly once it's dialed in.

Id check to see if there was a hardware test software on Asus's website. I've never had one tell me hardware was bad, even when I knew something wasn't right, but its worth a shot.
