Hey all,

Took a point blank soccer ball shot off my right eye. It was hard enough to break skin on my lower eyelid, and the bottom half of my eyeball is bloodshot.

Vision seems to be relatively ok. Distance vision is blurry and I have a slight headache. Pupils are the same size.

Any doctors or nurses on here care to comment on when it's time to see a doctor? Otherwise, I'm just going to ice this thing up tonight.

I think I'll start a separate thread for jokes about taking a shot in the eye.

It sounds like a concussion, and the rule I follow with doctors is you see them immediately for foot issues and head issues. It sucks to have long term walking disability and the head is too important and delicate to **** around with.

I have the same rule regarding penis issues.

Update since i'm here...

my eye is fine. The spot in my vision went away after a couple days.

I got hit in the other eye about 2 weeks ago in another fluke accident and had the same problem. It also resolved itself.
