Finally, a cyberrebate deal I can live with!!
Item #185031 - White Porcelain Clock $11.99 - the rebate is $51.99, that's a $40 profit for a small outlay. I can live with that. If cyberrebate should go down the tubes while holding my $11.99, it won't be the end of the world! I went through mypoints, but you could also go through ******, and I'm sure they participate in other reward programs as well.

I had a $10 e-coupon at CyberRebate so...I paid only $1.99 and get a rebate for $51.99. That's a $50 gain.

Has to be a mistake, the item said, "White Porcelain Clock
FREE After Rebate". Maybe you will get lucky and get the $51.99 rebate. I have to give this some thought. Very good and interesting post.

So, how long does it takes for the rebate?

I am ofcourse skeptical but did it anyway and will post any results. I order fairly often from CyberRebate, just did an order last week so it's worth a try.

Has anyone's rebate form been posted yet?

Hrm, I just got a shipping notification that my clock has indeed shipped, but there is no sign of a rebate form. I wonder if they are changing the deal on us and whipping together an $11.99 rebate form or something? [shrug]

Don't worry about the rebate form it will be posted.

But will the rebate form say $51.99 or $11.99? Either way, worst you can do is break even. But it would be nice of them to give me $40.

I have seen CyberRebate have deals that refunded more than the purchase amount, but the difference for those items was $5 and not $40. Should be interesting to see how it is handled.

I received the clock today...
But there is a slight problem. There is no UPC symbol on the box anywhere!! It came in a plain white box that says "Made in China".
Has anyone had this happen before?
How do I submit the rebate form without the UPC?
What should I do?!?!?!?!?

Mine had a flimbsy sticker UPC on the bottom of the box. Look carefully in the box it was shipped in, maybe it fell off. Otherwise, email or call Cyberrebate on their 800 number. I bet they still make good on it, just more work for you.

My clock came today too. Many "tinkle, tinkle" noises when I picked up the box.

Called Customer Service(I got a real nice girl) and explained.
They wanted to credit my CC and have me reorder.
Think I'll just take the $51.99 rebate on my $11.99 clock and throw it out.

--If the rebate goes through--

P.S. -- My UPC was also a small tag on the outside of the box. Had barcodes, but no numbers. Hope it works!

My rebate form still hasn't posted, and now when I look at my invoice online, it says it's $11.99 with an $11.99 rebate... has this happened to anyone else? Has anyone gotten a $51.99 rebate form?

I think someone better email them. I just noticed it too.

This is from the email they sent me a few days ago:

Items:
#185031 White Porcelain Clock
1 x $11.99 = $11.99 ($40.00) AFTER REBATE

That is essentially a receipt, so they will be held to that.

to save yourself some grief if there is no upc code, just email their customer care and ask for a gift verification voucher. they'll email it to you in a couple of days, you print it out and fill it out and send it in with your rebate submission. this allows you to get the rebate without sending in the upc, you just send in the voucher which you have signed, saying that the item is going to be a gift to someone... and you can use the same form over and over for anything you buy from these guys.

I have done the gift verification before but if I remember correctly, they wanted a photostadt of the UPC code off the package so you still need the UPC code. If it's missing, I would contact them or better yet ask Gotapex for help, they helped me with Cyberrebate in the past.

I received my clock yesterday. No damage and the rebate was a sticker on the box. This is kind of standard for 'gift' items from them. I just checked and the rebate is still pending on their website. We'll see! I only paid $1.99 but I used up a $10 rebate certificate they'd given me.
