I understand airlines charging for checked baggage. but to charge you for carry on bags this to me is bit much. (you can carry a small like laptop bag -16 x 14 x 12"max that will fix under the seat in front of you for free.(great for a day trip)
(i always travel for 3 days or longer and this wont work at all for me. even if i used the vacuum sucking bags that claim to save space on TV ).
a carry one bag - 22 x 18 x 10" will cost you $20.00 if you join there $9.00 club. but if your not a member it jumps up to $30.00 prepaid when you buy your ticket and $45.00 if you arrive at the airport and not prepaid for a carry on bag. this is total BullSh.that spirit airlines doing. im flying Delta even if it cost me $10 -$20 more round trip.

WHO FLY SPIRIT ANY MORE if there a choice ?

I don't have the choice to fly them, but that's how they're all going. Lots of a la carte fee add-ons.

Gotta love Southwest. They Don't charge for that first bag and they are buying another airline and plan on dropping their charges when ther merger is complete.

It wont take long for the travel websites to adjust. They will soon ask you how many bags and find you the cheapest flight.

It's just another input when deciding which airline to fly. Now you just need to pay attention more closely as the airline with the cheapest ticket may not have the lowest total cost.

I love how the justification was fuel prices but now that they see it as a money maker, it's here to stay.
