I want to solicit some opinions.

I just moved to the DC area to be near my girlfriend and to work at an awesome startup. I did it in a hurry and needed a place to stay for two weeks. Two of my friends, recently married, put me up for the weekdays of those two weeks. (My girlfriend lives pretty far from my office and dc traffic is terrible).

I want to do something nice for them, but can't figure out what to do. They're
- Good friends, we often vacation together, they introduced me to my gf
- quite wealthy, they don't want my money
- love to eat out, i've been treating them to dinners
- talkative, so both of them really love having a third pair of ears to fill up. I think they're enjoying my company.

I bought them this super cool egg cooker because they love to make poached eggs. I also took them to dinner twice, totalled around $150. I intend to take them once more.

What do you think, should i do more? G|A'ers always have creative ideas. They saved me a ton of $$$. THANKS!

You seem to have dinners covered...how about pay for a maid to come in and clean the bathrooms, floors, etc on your last day?

take their cars to get cleaned/washed?

Maid - good idea. Maybe also leave them with a nice bottle of wine.

Upper decker. ;)

I like the maid idea too. If anything like St. Louis area (and I'd suspect it'd be more) it'll probably cost 150-200.

Did you guys take any photos while you were visiting? Maybe a nicely framed photo of you guys together or of a place you guys went? (making the gift sort of meaningful)

Pair that up with a nice bottle of wine and some simple flowers?
