i just ran to the store and bought 3-2 packs of 9 volt energizer battery. each pack of 2 was just under $5 so $15 plus tax total. guess its still cheaper then waking up dead having dead batterys in my smoke detectors and a fire start!
i also bought 1 pack each of D /C cell everyready batterys and a 4 pack of AA energizer rechargeable 2450 mah batterys. i spent like $50 total for batterys that hurts the old pocket book.
but all i need now is to find the one maglight 2 cell that dead around the house someplace. don't you just love it when you know you seen a item. but cant remember were it was you seen it at when you want it.

I just try not to start fires while I'm sleeping.

I usually wait for the detector to start "chirping" that it wants a fresh battery.
