Ewww, really, who would want to?
Actually, I am hungry. I want to lose 5 lbs. before swimsuit weather. Shouldn't be that hard, right? I'll pass on the horse.

I've never understood the stigma surrounding horse meat. I mean, it's meat, right? From an herbivore, similar in size and diet to a cow, right? Bring on the Mr. Ed burger, I'll eat it.

it's like eating dog or cat. we've loved them as pets so it's hard to think of eating Snoopy or Garfield. same with horses, i guess.
which goes on, does someone with a pet pig still eat pork?

I would eat dog and cat... do my part to manage the stray population. Supposedly carnivores aren't tasty but I can't remember ever having one so I dunno. Sounds like a challenge. I've had black bear and that is tasty, but they're omnivores.

I'm nephews in china and he said he had camel and said it was really chewy and didn't like it. i understand in France they serve horse . in Africa they will eat Dog. the old saying is don't go out for Chinese or look around back you may fine fluffy the cat hanging. not sure its true or not but I love Chinese food. so i wont go in the back to fine out.
different cultures like different foods . as long as your not told what something is you should be fine. but I'm sure going to draw the line in Spain no mountain oysters please . :)

The chinese rural people eat all sorts of crazy things, but I don't think you'll see them serving spot at your local carryout.

If you want to try dog, combine 75% ground lamb with 25% ground pork, and that will be pretty close. (I had dog in china)
