I love this time of year. Snow going away, flowers just starting to peak their fair green tips through the wintry ground, sun finally feeling warm!, and birds singing. Everything old and cold is new again. :)

That first spring day of the year when I get to walk around the city with just a t-shirt on is always magical. We're still in the low 40s this week so I'm hoping this day will come soon.

We are finally about to get some warmer weather, but it will still pale in comparison to the weather I'm expecting when I head to Florida next week.

(and hopefully by the time I come back, the cold and snow will be gone from Calga.....oh wait, who am I kidding? :) )

We always hope that when we go on vacation in April too. Unfortunately, have been met with snow many times upon arrival back. :P

Went to the Brooklyn Botanic Garden ( www.bbg.org ) this past weekend. Only a few plants were starting to bloom, but it was fairly empty, warm enough to go without a jacket, and peaceful.

Im going to have to make it a point to go there more often this year.

Same here. The forecasters didn't predict it would be as warm, but it's just below 75 outside, and clear sunny skies. :)
