View Full Version : Huge Marketing Firm Epsilon has had their email list breached

No one is saying what was compromised <edit:sounds like just email address, if that's true> or how much. But, given the size of the companies on the known list, I'd say it's safe to assume the affected number is high.
And cashiers wonder why I refuse to give my phone number out at the register. (I make an exception for Best Buy Reward Zone, and I got burned here.)

I've gotten 4 notices so far. Best Buy, Walgreens(probably from using their online photo service), and 2 others. I'm not real happy, as like you I wonder what really was nabbed besides just email addresses.

I got an email from Walgreens too (photos). Usual line of BS about how much they care about privacy and will continue to work diligently to protect customers. :bash: They claim it is only email addresses because Epsilon had no other information.

I've received one email. And I'm not sure BestBuy has that much info on people for the reward zone deal. I can't remember. I know they don't have socials / banking info / etc.
