Mods, I hope this is ok to post here. If not I understand.
I and my family will be walking in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s on April 30th. Our mother has, in the last year, been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s.
We, her children, are the living representations of her life, of all the things she's done, of all the places she's been. Soon she won't remember the baseball and softball games, the Boy Scout and Girl Scout meetings, the school plays, the camping trips, the volunteering at our schools, our weddings, the baby sitting of our children. She won't remember Hearst Castle, Carlsbad Caverns, Washington DC, Seoul Korea, the Grand Canyon and dozens of other place. She won't remember her home in Canada. For all the things we remember and for all the things she won't, we'll walk.
Please consider donating. Even if it’s just $5, every penny counts.
Thanks!
Yvonne
