Sounds delicioso! Your gf is lucky...
I adore men who can cook (besides grilling meat!)

She helped out with getting the place ready, decorating the table, running out and getting last minute food, locating and picking up a sodium nitrate free ham, as well as being a sous-chef, dessert chef, and dish washer inbetween courses.

Which reminds me of one of the hardest parts of the meal, everything was free of HFC, sodium nitrate, gluten, and tree nuts.

I think your gf and I would get along well. :)
I am big on not eating anything with nitrates/nitrites in them.
I try to steer clear of trans fat, "hydrogenated" anything and HFC syrup also.

nuts are fine though. :D

Oh she doesnt care as much abotu the nitrates as I and the family I had over do. The gluten free is for my cousin and tree nuts for the other cousin.
