Anyone else been attacked by Comcast's latest and greatest downgrade? Despite the fact that they call it an upgrade, I personally am experiencing much worse service across the board. More errors, more pixelizing, VOD works less reliably, the menu system is less intuitive and more. What do other people think?

BTW...comcast's response to being advised of the issues is that they are standardizing their system everywhere and its better. When you point out the issues you hear dead silence followed by an excuse.

Unless it is your ONLY option... why stay with them?

Now with hulu and netflix it can no longer be the only option, except possibly for internet access, but in a few years that will not be the case either as carriers start pushing LTE and WiMAX

I have comcast and my alternative is Fios (Took them long enough). I pay $85 total versus $130 for Fios. I've had the problems you have too but when I look at $50/month savings I put up with it. It's annoying but I've yet to have it go down when I need something crucial.

That being said I like the Xfinity app. I can change channels and watch shows on my iphone or any place that has wifi. It's pretty cool.
