How're you enjoying the long weekend?

Nothing exciting here. Mowed the lawn and kegged a batch of homebrew so far. Going to putter in the garden a bit and do some grilling later.

A wedding to go to late this afternoon - bride and groom are son/daughter of friends of ours and are friends of my older kids. My daughter, son-in-law and 3 grandkids are in town for the wedding. Hopefully I'll be able to fire up the grill tomorrow. They drive back to Omaha on Monday afternoon.

NOthing here, maybe a baseball game tomorrow, assuming we dont get blasted again. Tornados today, and last weekend, possibly more tomorrow. Eh.......lazy days

Well the grilling was excellent and I ate way too much... had 3 large burgers and maybe a pound of marinated chicken thighs. Mmmmm. I have a serious weakness for anything grilled.

I was hoping to put some ribs and chicken on the grill this afternoon, but the sky is black outside and they're flashing severe thunderstorm warnings. :(

thursday, went to see a free jazz jam til 130AM. with matching static trapeze artist! some drinks.
friday, a friend's birthday celebration til 3AM. lotsa drinks.
saturday, a show til 4AM. more lotsa drinks.
sunday, a bbq at another friends' house til 6AM. drinks drinks and lotsa more drinks.
monday, do-nothing the whole day, evening bbq. some more drinks.

i liked the extended weekend so much, im taking off thursday and friday for another extended weekend.
