I've been having some problems with my computer ever since i moved around some of my files. When I turn on my computer (PC Pentium III/450, 128mb, 13g, win 98) it loads all the way to my desktop, then gives me a crash error for "msrexe". I have to click on this message 4-5 times to get it to go away. Everything then runs smoothly until some random point where my whole computer crashes. CRTL+ALT+DEL no longer works on my computer, even when it hasn't yet crashed. When it does crash, everything stops except for the mouse. About two months ago my internal battery freaked out when i had my computer disconnected to power for about 4-5 days, and since then my clock and calendar have never been correct. Does this have something to do with my problem? Also, when my computer turns on it says it's only a Pentium III/300. I don't know too much about computers, a little more than the average joe, but I'm kinda lost with this problem. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Do not run your computer if it's saying you have a different processor than you actually do. Your settings are screwed up and you might end up frying your chip.
Do you know if you have a Soft BIOS (i.e. you set the voltages for the processor in the BIOS, not on the motherboard)?

Look in the BIOS (when you boot up it will say something like "Press F1 to Enter Setup") for something to do with which processor you have and change it to the one you have.
