it's about that game everyone knows is the ultimate sleep depriver...CS...well my problem is that my stupid Jos.WAD won't open. I've reinstalled the damn game a million times and it still won't open...*choking noise*...if anyone has any idea how to help ...well help!

Do a search for it and make sure that it's in the cstrike directory. If you can't find it, get the file from someone else. I've had that problem too. The stupid file just disappears.

Try to d/l the whole cs program over. Might come up. Mines did.

I too am ahving probs instalkling CS
i get the error
"Could not initilize installations (CRC) Parameter is incorrect."

I get the same error for Half Life update
WTF is goingon here??????

I had the same problem with jos.wad also. You'll find most of the wads and missing maps (if you have the retail version) at:

http://www.planethalflife.com/counter-strike/maps
