Awesome deal here! Reviews call the Nook Color a mediocre e-reader, and it's true.
If you want a pure e-reader, get a device with e-ink and save your eyes.

The Nook Color is GREAT as an all-around tablet that people have been rooting (warning:
you will void your warranty) and installing custom Android ROMs on. Check out the
specs:

800MHz Cortex A8-based (ARM) TI OMAP 3621

PowerVR SGX530 GPU

512MB RAM

8GB Internal Memory

Expandable to 32GB via microSDHC

7" 1024x600 IPS Display w/ LED Backlight

3.7V 4000mAh 14.8Wh Li-ion Battery good for 8 hours

Accelerometer

Micro-B USB 2.0 High-Speed Port

As you can see, these are really great specs for a $200 tablet. I have rooted mine
and am currently running Android Gingerbread 2.3.3 via

PHIREMOD's custom ROM based on CM7 w/ the CPU overclocked to 1.1 Ghz (do this at your own risk).
