Stupid Freaking Dumbass Course :mad3:.
Remind me, why am I taking a dumbass course? It seems to me that all these liberal art hippies like to take classes that fill you with unintelligent useless crap. So stupid infact, i just don't care about it. And I just got the midterm back and it is an ugly reminder to never ever take a hippie liberal art course ever, EVER again. Stupid freaking class.

Sounds like the crap I had to put up with back in college. I took two "easy" classes and did miserable in them both. THe one, Exceptional people, was about dealing with diveristity in the world. I.e. - dealing with blind, deaf, mentally handicapped, physically handicapped, socially handicapped, or just plain homosexual people. And yes, the homeosexual aspect was a real part of the course, which was humorous because we were taught by a flagrant and open homosexual man who happened to be chief of the volunteer fire and rescue team. They had us walk around campus blind folded for about an hour. Speak only in ASL for an entire meal at the one of the main student lounges. Sign a "check" with our feet, eat with our feet, etc. (to simulate being an amputee, because walking on our hands was a bit out of the question) All sorts of "fun" things like that. It was one of the most pointless classes that I ever had the misfortune of taking.
The other class was architectural history, supposedly an A for just showing up...turned into one damn test after another every class! I memorized the visages of over 500 buildings (think Norte Dame Rheims etc) and taught my friend them too. He got an A, I somehow ended up with a D!!
Oh, those fun little classes to fulfill your General Ed requirements!
I do sympathesize with your plight, now I just have to deal with some classes that I would never take if they werent required for the state bar. But at least I will actually make use of them at some time.

Intro to user interface and design. This is a cs course. but i don't know why. half of the people taking it were liberal hippies and the other half was there just to fulfill their IS curiculum. I decided to try Information Systems instead of a Computer Systems because suposedly it's easier. That may be so, but when your not interested in the crap they teach you, your not going to learn anything.
cant you just take the final and skip the rest of the semester? i have that option with my cisco class right now, and i make take advantage of it, even though i might miss some info that would fill in gaps in my knowledge. if the class is that simple and dumb, you should be able to take the final after a week or so of study at most
