Got home today from doing a small job. The wife got me a new toy to play with. A 16gig apple IPad 2. Will say it's interesting to play with. odd part is there no SD slot on the Ipod 2 but it is touch screen.
this is totally new to me -what apps to add and what apps to stay clear of.

Oh how fun! Here are my top apps:

Netflix
Dropbox (access your files from the ipad)
iBooks (or Kindle, or Stanza)
Xfinity (if you have Comcast)
Splashtop (remote machine viewer - lets you control your windows machine from your ipad)
Flipboard (news reader)
Epicurious (if you or your wife like to cook)

Cool, mine allowed me to pick up a new laptop,desktop, and ordering new parts for my home built and I was thinking of getting her an IPad. I'm pretty sure it would be useful for work for her.
