I can't print with my HP DeskJet 660c in Win98SE. I just hooked it up to my computer today, and all the settings look correct, so i don't know why. The printer port is in bi-directional mode, should it be in ECP?

try setting it to ECP or ECP+EPP.

what do you mean you can't print? when you tru to print, do you get an error message? does nothing happen?

hapoo: Didn't work.
giambona: i get an error message from the HP Software saying that the printer is out of paper, which it isn't.

make sure its plugged in well :)
uninstall and reinstall the software

solved it. I don't know exactly what was wrong, but when i unscrewed the plug and took it out, then put it in and screwed it back in, it was fixed. Weird if you ask me.
