My wife received a text that she's a high user. Checked how much she data she uses and it's 2.5GB. We have unlimited data plan. I find it very hard to believe she's a top 5% user.
Maybe it's time to go to another provider when the contract is up.

2.5GB... over what kind of time period is that?
Sorry if it's a dumb question, I'm curious and I'm not familiar w- data plans/ usage.

It doesn't really matter the time period (Less than a month though, since it resets) But it's happening more and more, AT&T pretty much admitted it's a ploy to get people to move to the "Limited" plans. As people are getting "Throttled" without even going over the amount of the "Limited" plan (Which is 3GB in a month.)
I could see if people were at say 10GB or something that's abnormally high, even if they call it "unlimited" everyone knows they don't actually MEAN that, but 2.5GB throttle is excessive, stupid, and wrong.
