does anyone have a serial number i can use? i tried using the example one on the page (s/n: 1234567890) i hope it works

just got mine today as well. Only took about 4 business days - sent 2 day Priority Mail no less. And yes, the sign up form will take any number you type in - I know I just typed in some random numbers myself so I guess I'm proof that they don't care what numbers you put in.
