View Full Version : WOW! I got a free modem from TELOCITY-I don't know why

I just received a free DSL modem from TELOCITY, I never ordered one, I signed up for Winfire free DSL, but I never followed through on it and never purchased the modem. Has anyone else received one of these modems and can anyone tell me what was the promotion and is it connected with the free DSL, or is is an error that I got it?

Also, what did you do? sign up for winfire or telocity? I need one, I want to get free DSL, dial up is making me NUTS~! Thanks!

The error was with Airborne Express, They brought it to my address, 337 instead of 377. I was fooled because there was no name listed in the ship to and I thought it had something to do with free Winfire.

Telocity is sending out new dsl modems to all Phoenix dsl customers because they just bought Phoenix dsl and changing hardware for all of their subscribers... if your neighbor doesn't get his then his dsl hookup won't work anymore...

my friend order pacbell DSL... and got the modem... but then cancelled.. and they never had a record of him having the modem!

we e-bayed it and got like $100 for it.... paid for bills..

hehe.. you can do the same if you didn't sign for it!
