I juss got an AMD GHZ proc. w. an Abit KT7-RAID mobo. I'm thinkin of using this baby's on board RAID. I know that setting up a RAID 0 array is fast but can anything go wrong w. using RAID? Are there any precautions i should take or anything i should know before setting it up?
want to hook up 2 ibm75gxp hard drives.
You should have no probs. I am currently running two 75GXPs as well. I love it!
Just know that using RAID 0, if one hard drive fails, your data will be lost. However, the quality of the IBM drives makes me feel at peace. Go for it!
I'm on a KT7-RAID with two 75GXP's in RAID 0 as well. Weird.
Only one prob that I can think of....$$$$
