What's even better is that Nick@nite is gonna be airring(sp?) it during their Month of 80's sitcom's this coming month. Time to get nostalgic :)

man, i miss nick@nite. especially if they're having a month of 80s sitcoms! thats almost enough to make me want to just give up and get cable.

Ileft the tv on PBS all day when I wasnt home.

When I was I only watched Star Trek.
I lived in a place where you could watch for 5 hours striaght Star Trek, flipping channels. On Sunday only that is.

Still. beyond news thats what I watch, re runs re runs

I loved Alf, too. My favorites now would have to be:

Comedy: Friends & Three Sisters
Drama: Law & Order (& Special Victims Unit), ER, CSI, The Fugitive, The Practice & Survivor.

or

that 70s show

or

friends

i like them all ;)

DARTH

Never really got into any of those except for friends. I have found that as I have gotten older I find myself watching nothing but comedies. Maybe cause life is full of drama as is.

my all time favorite show is cheers. but the station i used to watch it on disappeared and the home shopping network showed up instead.

otherwise, i'd have to agree with styleee's picks.

OK, I am sort of embarrassed to say, but the Aaron Spelling show on the WB, CHARMED, is currently my favorite show. But before you argue with me, hear that Alissa Milano and her costars dont wear bras. Seriously, the show is very entertaining.

I like Charmed too, but my current favorite is Dark Angel.

(get this TV off of me!)

I was just complaining about Fawlty Towers not being on the air anymore. Absolutely Fabulous was a wonderful wonderful show, and my car gets her name (Patsy) from that show.

Another one of the horribley cheesy shows that I'm addicted to is Dawsons Creek.

it depends on your local PBS station. mine has all sorts of BBC shows playing, but fawlty towers is not one of them.

there's something very queer about this thread...

first of all, the forums show that DARTH started it, but the first post is by Jenny.

secondly, there is a one-year lapse between the second and third posts, indicating that this thread has already been dug up once.

thirdly, when i clicked on the reply button, the "reader's digest" listing of the thread posts that appears below the reply box is different than what actually appears in the thread itself (example: theorangeone seems to have authored the first post instead of Jenny)...

this is weird...

and on that note, terribletom, err... neither of the shows you mentioned are sitcoms... :hmm:

as for my favorites (i thought i remembered posting in this thread one of the previous times it was resurrected), i'll have to think about it. i'm spinning a little from the confusion...

true, but the thread was asking about sitcoms (SITuational COMedies?).

At the risk of running a re-post or something similar (gawd forbid) This was done so you all don't get your underwear up in a bunch...

Some of you peeps are so predictable, you always know who's buttons will get pushed with what. I think that will make a good thread...

Sorry, I don't mean to be. I just mean to say, you always know who is going to respond in what way to a certain thread. And, it always seems to be the same hand full, that's called predictability.
