Editing registry without regedit?

I have a virus on my PC that is keeping me from running any executable files, even in safe mode. I believe I can fix it if I can edit the registry.

How can I do this from Dos? Or, which file(s) do I need to put on disk to edit from another PC? Any help would be appreicated. Thanks.

Try renaming regedit.exe to regedit.com & then run it.
