View Full Version : good prices on laptops

I ran into these guys the other week on eBay also. I'm not so sure how legit they are. Their feedback on eBay is great, but they've sold mostly baseball cards for under $5. Why are they all the sudden getting into laptops? And at such great prices, it makes me very wary. It's been my exprience on eBay that if the price is too good to be true, it is (especially on very expensive things). Also notice, they ship in 2-4 weeks...that makes me even more suspicious.
If someone has had a good experience with them, please let me know. They are selling the laptop I want for $500 less than any other place online or B&M.

Anyone else notice that this thread is a bit messed up? My first post shouldn't be the first message, but it is.

Choice items include:
America Online® 9 --- They are only up to ver. 6 for the rest of us
Intuit® Quicken® Basic 2000 - about 1.5 years old
I just don't know. It looks like a code house that suddenly became a hardware dealership

I was born and raised in San Diego, and when I moved away from there a number of years ago, that address would be consider slumsville. I live about 4 hours north of there now, otherwise I would go check it out.
They have done some improvements to the whole downtown area of San Diego, but hard to say.
Buyer beware....
well, i live (t)here now. according to yahoo maps, it is right next to horton plaza. the only time i remember that area being slumville would be b4 horton plaza was there. i may check it out soon if i am in the area.
