Pisses me off gear.com got taken over by overstock. Goodbye cheap sporting good store on the net. (well at least one of the few -remaining-)

It was probably a pricing error. For some reason people don't seem to complain when it's in their favour. :)

At any rate, I've found that their prices are reasonable, as long as you don't look at electronics... or items that depreciate in value as fast as PC components. :P

one of my friends ordered from them and he mysteriously recieved (and was charged for) a vacuum cleaner. he ordered speakers so the vacuum cleaner was a total mistake. that made me think twice about buying from them. but i always think twice when i buy things. but there prices seem resonable. most of the time its under retail.
