Deal on 56/dsl modem Internal - 17.99

i took this from another forum. they have a internal 56k/dsl modem for 17.99. o yeah i was able to speak to the pres of the company and he gave a coupon for this modem. the coupon code is COMPAQDSL .its for 1.00 off. shipping for me was pretty pricey. 8.99. well if you guys want ti get it cause the coupon ends on the 28th (end of the month). i bought it and the total came out to be 25.98 i guess its a good price for a 56/dsl. heres the link.

ps. modem makes a horrible sound when connecting. i do not recommend you buying this modem from here.

i got the modem not long ago. but the driver that came with it was not the corret one so i cant use the modem. if someone bought this modem please let me kno where to get the driver and the drievr name. thnkz

ps. i emailed the shop owner many times. this company is not good with after pruchase supports :angry:

if i were you i would cancel my order immidately. at first i thought this was a really good deal due to the fact that i was able to talk to the president of the company. but now i kno that it didnt make much of a difference. he sent me an email containing the link to the driver...BUT the driver was missing several files so now i have to run my computer in safe mode. this whole ordeal has makin me very unhappy. i give this shop a very VERY low rating. and im sure im not the only one. :angry: http://www.fatwallet.com/forums/messageview.cfm?start=41&catid=18&threadid=26176
